DESTINATIONS | KIMBERLEY

Discover the Kimberley

The Kimberley is an ancient and spiritual place. With a spectacularly rugged coastline, million-year-old gorges, and a vibrant Indigenous Australian culture, the region offers experiences unlike anywhere else in the world. Known for its thriving population of barramundi, you can also find mackerel, tuna, sailfish, threadfin salmon, prawns, and red emperor in its waters.

Surrounded by natural wilderness and a diversity of coral reefs, rivers, and creeks, the Kimberely is a popular location for sport fishing. Jump onto one of the region’s wilderness cruises to have a go at catching the elusive mudcrab and learn traditional fishing techniques from Aboriginal guides. Or you might choose to sit back at one of the many luxury homestead restaurants for a three-course seafood meal and watch the sunset over the red dirt.
